SPECIFICATIONS

 

TYPE: Vertical, Water Cooled, totally enclosed, Compression Ignition, Four Stroke Cycle, Cold Start.

COMBUSTION: Open Type Combustion chamber in an aluminum alloy Piston with Long Stem Nozzle resulting in low consumption and easy starting.

FUEL SYSTEM: High Speed diesel is supplied to the Fuel pump by gravity feed passing through an efficient paper element filter.

LUBRICATION: Force feed lubrication by plunger type pump to large end bearing. Main bearing being tapper roller need not require separate supply. Other moving parts are splash lubricated. Use lub oil SAE 30-40 or equivalent grades.

COOLING: Cooling is arranged for run through water supply in cylinder block and head.

GOVERNING: A sensitive Centrifugal Type Governor is mounted on camshaft gear wheel. Speed Variation is controlled within limits.

ROTATION: Standard Rotation is clockwise looking at flywheel side.

STARTING: The Engine is suitable for hand starting.

DRIVE: Standard Power take off is from flywheel side.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT: Starting handle, Exhaust Silencer, Air Cleaner, Hand Tools.
